Intermediate level PDF Sewing Pattern for high-waisted Pencil Skirt with front buttoning and large side pockets.
The sewing pattern comes in Italian sizes from 38 to 54.
For this sewing project, you will need about 1,05 m or 1,15 yd for sizes from 38 to 48 and 1,55 m or 1,7 yd for sizes from 50 to 54 of any woven, even slightly stretchy, fabric. For example, poplin, denim, linen, gabardine, and so on. Fabric width 140 cm or 55’’. You will also need 7 regular buttons or snap fasteners Ø 15 mm or 20 mm (0,6’’ or 0,8’’), matching thread, fusible interfacing 30 cm x 100 cm or 12” x 40”, a scrap of cotton fabric for the waistband internal finishing circa 50 cm x 50 cm or 20” x 20”, bias tape for the inner raw edges finishing (optional), hemming web (optional). The tools needed for the project are the following sewing machine, buttonhole foot (optional), scissors, pins, needle, iron, and ironing board.

Here are the two size charts you need to identify your size. I use Italian sizing (from 36 to 64) for garments made of woven fabrics and International sizing (XS-5XL) for knit/jersey garments.
