Intermediate-level PDF sewing pattern for Blazer with shawl lapels.

Materials needed for the project:

  • Fabric - any medium-weight Stretchy Knit fabric like Scuba, Ponte, French Terry, sweatshirt fleece, etc. For sizes from XS to M about 1.8 m / 2 yd, for sizes from L to XXL about 2.3 m / 2.5 yd, for sizes from 3XL to 5XL about 3.5 m / 3.85 yd - fabric width 140 cm or 55"
  • A scrap of matching regular lining (not necessarily stretchy) 40x100 cm or 16x40’’
  • Bias tape about 8.5 m ⁄ 9.3 yd - width 14 mm ⁄ 0.55’’(optional)
  • Hemming web about 5 m / 5.5 yd for sizes XS, S, M and 8.5 m / 9.3 yd for sizes from L to 5XL - width 30 mm 1,18’’(optional)
  • 1 large button or snap fastener (optional)
  • Matching thread.

  • Regular Sewing Machine
  • Serger/Overlock Machine (optional)
  • Scissors
  • Zig-zag scissors (optional)
